Kalistick has been awarded the 2009 Innovation Prize from the "Assises de la Sécurité et des Syst&eagrave;mes d'Information"
 Prix de l'Innovation

Paris, October 8, 2009 – Kalistick has just been awarded the 2009 Innovation Prize from Assises de la Sécurité et des Systèmes d'Information. Kalistick is the software provider that brings us the Quality Cockpit, the 1st SaaS platform that is accessible over the Internet and by subscription for controlling and improving the technical quality of IT development projects.

The Innovation Prize competition is held by the Assises de la Sécurité et de Systèmes d'Information for the purpose of supporting innovation in security. This competition, which focuses on companies created within the past 3 years in the European Union, Switzerland, or Norway, has been awarded to the start-up Kalistick.

The 2009 jury, led by Hervé Schauer, head of HSC, was made up of: Didier Gras, IT Security Manager for BNP Paribas Group; Sylvain Thiry, IT Security Manager for SNCF group; Benoît Perrot, Investment Director at ACE Management; Thierry Olivier, IT Security & Services Manager for SFR; David Crochemore, IS Security Manager for the Ministry of Justice; Yvon Klein, IT Security Manager at CNES; Alexandre Zapolski, President and General Director for Linagora; Reda Zitouni, CEO & Co-Founder of Mobiquant (2008 winner); Jean Capron, IT Security Manager France, Philips IT Infrastructure France.

Created in November 2007 and based in the Lyon region, Kalistick is the result of a research program conducted with a laboratory at the INSA Lyon, the LIESP (Laboratoire d’Informatique pour l’Entreprise et les Systèmes de Production). The company develops the Quality Cockpit, a SaaS platform that is accessible over the Internet, used for controlling and measuring the technical quality of Java/J2EE and C#/.Net IT development projects.

Integrating security into development remains one of the top recurring problems. Allowing developers to submit their code online to determine the level of quality is an innovative approach that meets the needs of businesses by allowing project teams to work proactively on security.

For IS Security Managers and IT Directors, Kalistick's security monitoring tool helps to anticipate and prevent application security vulnerabilities. Security audits can then be based on the Cockpit's results to target and secure the company's strategic areas. The vulnerability problems in applications are proactively taken into account by the project teams. Security is simply integrated into the development process with appropriate technical requirements. Automatic code analyses immediately identify problems and report them clearly on dashboards.

"Considering the reputation of Assises de la Sécurité and those on the jury, I am very proud to receive the 2009 Innovation Prize," says Marc Rambert, president of Kalistick. "This prize recognizes the vision of the entire team and the years of work that went into making it a reality. This will help to spread the culture of security and the related best practices among development teams."

Kalistick will receive its trophy at the Assises plenary session on Friday, October 9, 2009, in Monaco.
